Dear Rotary Friends,
A small photo feature of my trip to other rotary club in the Indian Ocean region during the last week.
1. Rotary Club of Grand Baie (Mauritius) on 26th June 2007 It was interesting to see the last meeting of two different club. (The last meeting for the outgoing president.) Rotary Club of Grand Baie - Mauritius - Synopsis of the meeting Two major issues discussed . One of the them being promotion of their ongoing International Career camp. (Their annual fund raiser in which 80 university participate in an annual convention and pay US 1000 each for a stand . Their contribution is to canvass for students to attend the fair; last fair attracted 25,000 student)
The second part being HE Ambassador for Pakistan being Invited to address the Rotary group. A delegation for the Pakistan University made an excellent presentation for promoting their university during the meeting. Maybe our Secretary Rtn. Samir Gupta Can take a clue from the above subject. The wonderful part of Rotary is the Internationalism ; universal appeal and methodology in operation. Also similarity in dealing with issues within the club and also addressing social causes. Possible joint efforts/co-operations may materialise with thes clubs in near future. Share Rotary

I was very impressed to read of your visit to the Mauritius and Madagaskar Rotary clubs. They are doing a great job from what you describe! I would be certainly interested to read the detailed report that you have mentioned about in your message. Congratulation on the good work you are doing in promotion of international understanding!
