Inaguration meeting at RO Plant	Foundation Stone at RO Plant

The Function was organized at Panchayat office at Godhumakunta. Chartered President of Rotary club of Emory Druid Hills of Atlanta Donor club of RO Plant. Mr. Mke Glanton, House representative of Georgis assenbly, Rtn. Suresh PDG and others were received by the local people with affection. RO plant with capacity 250 litres was inaugurated by visiting dignitaries from USA after tradional Puja and breaking of coconuts. There after formal meeting was arranged where in Rtn.Shivakumar Coordinating the project welcomed the gathering . Rtn. Suresh PDG delived his speech and elaborted on the activities of Rotary in the field of community service. Rtn. Mrs. Paddy Sharma explained how this project was conceived through the initiative of telugu people residing in state of Georgia. Mr. Mike Glanton, House Rep. of Georgia assembly addressed the gathering and declared that he is adopting the village. He donated 1000 US dollars so that poor people who cannot afford to pay water are given water free of cost. Firther he declared donation of 30 desks to the local school. The generosity of visiting political dignitary was well appreciated by one and all. The process to be followed to run the operation of RO plant was explained by Rtn. Shivakumar. Rtn Praveen supplier of RO plant explained the salient features of plant. Rtn. Dr. Surender president RCSS was named as incharge for overviewing the operations and to take appropriate actions for smooth operations including supply of water to villagers.

Mr.Narender Reddy, Panchayat secretary who was instrumental for this project and other local people thanked the Rotary representatives and visiting dignitaries profusely for the great services rendered to Godhumakunta villages.
