RCSS Attendance of local Rotary Club meeting at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK

Dear Rotarians,

I have attended the club meeting of Rotary Club of Newcastle-upon-tyne(Dist 1030) on 03-09-2010. I met the President Rtn.Peter Tracey and Secretary Rtn.Bill Dunlop.The meeting was well attended by 40 Rotarians at a local Hotel. It was a Speaker meet. Prof Sugat Mitra, of Newcastle University, adressed the club on the subject of Internet education of poorer sections of the society. He had conducted the studies across continents in the world. The finding were interesting. I am also forwarding photos.
