Visit to MNJ Cancer Hospital.
MNJ Institute of Oncology is an autonomous and non profit Institution under the Government of Andhra Pradesh devoted to improving cancer treatment, prevention, education and researchThis 250 bedded hospital had a humble beginning in 1955 with donations from several philanthropists. This hospital is named after a major donor, Mehdi Nawaz Jung bahadur a Noble in the Nizam government and later a politician in independent India.Presently, MNJIO is a 250 bedded teaching hospital attached to the NT RamaRao University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh. It is the only Institute in AP, which imparts training in Radiation Oncology and awards MD degree in association with the Health University.
