District event LOVE MY FOUNDATION was organized by Rotary club of Hyderabad East On 25-09-2010 at Hotel Mariott from 06 PM onwards on the occasion of Visit of Rtn. Carl Stenhammer, Chairman of Trustee and RI past president and wife Monica, Rtn. ashok Mahajan Director Rotary International, Rtn.Rajalakshmi DG, T. Vijayender Rao PDG and Rtn. D.K. anand DG elect participated in the event. Prelude to the meeting fellowship was organized for interaction and greetings amongst fellow Rotarians. Rtn. Ravi Vadlamani as usual entertained the gathering with his vibrating voice, with and humor and praising the donors to foundation name till meeting commenced.
Host club president Rtn. D. Madhubala welcomed the invitees and guest Rtn Carl and RI Dir. Ashok Mahajan and Rtn. Rjayalakshmi DG and others were invited to Dias.
Rtn. Rjayalakshmi addressed gathering and assured maximum contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Rtn. T. Vijender Rao District Foundation chair appealed to the audience for liberal donations. Rtn. Ashok Mahajan elaborated on foundation and the neceesity to contribute to the same with love. Chief guest Rtn. Carl delivered his address and gave many a details of activities of the Rotary foundation. He appealed to all the people to contribute liberally for annual giving and polio fund.
Rtn. Dr. Surender, President of RCSS donated $ US 1000 to Rotary Foundation on the spot. The gesture was appreciated and he was honoured by Chairman of the Trustees.
It was great treat for the eyes to see when all the major donars and Paul ball Haris society members were honoured by Carl personally.
