RCSS Vocational visit to NIFT .

Vocational visit has been arranged to the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Madhapur, Hyderabad on 18th October 2012 at 10:00am. We met for breakfast at 8:30am at Taj Tristar, Secunderabad and Left for NIFT . The campus spread over about seven out of the 9.25 acres they have, is designed by a well know architectural firm to inspire creativity.

We have visited the places like the Centre Circle, the Foyer, the NIFT Courtyard, the architecture of the first building as also the new building.

They offer a Bachelor's Programme in: Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design and Fashion Communication. They have three post-graduate programmes in Design, Fashion Management and Fashion Technology.All these departments have their own labs, a total of 15 labs; if you leave out similar labs, there are nine unique labs to visit.

We were allowed to take photographs in the corridors and in the open areas of the campus. Photography is not permitted in the labs and classrooms.
