Community Service:- Benches Distribution Programme at Govt School Mulugu
Dear Rotarian,
As all of you are aware that, our club is in orefront in Social work. This Year we have donated 150 Nos. Benches to Govt. School Mulugu. We request all the Members to assemble at Dr. Surender"s Clinic by 9.00am Sharp on 4.3.2011 and Proceed to Mulugu. The Breakfast is arranged.The Distribution programme will be conducted by the club at the School Premises on 4-3-2011 at 10.00am. Please note that the the our club"s contribution to Benches is donated by Rtn. Srinivas Gumidelli on the occasion of his mother"s Birth day. She will be personally present and hand over the Benches to the Students. The Value of the Benches is around 2.25 lacs being garnered through Rotary by way of Matching Grant Project. This being one of the biggest ever programme ever taken by the club in the recent past My self and President sincerely request all the members to participate and make it a grand success.

According to the schedule the members of the club including Mother of Rtn. Srinivas Gumidelli have started to Mulugu at 9.30am and reached there by 10.30am The members were warmly welcomed by Head Masters (of High school and Primary School) , Students and Local leaders. The School arranged a big meeting attended by local leaders. To start the meeting the lamp was lit by Mother of Rtn. Srinivas Gumidelli and Rotarians and local leaders. The Children sang beautiful songs. The Benches numbering 150 were handed over to High School (120 Nos.) and Primary School(30Nos.).During the meeting the students requested for some more benches as the benches are not sufficient to meet their requirements. Rtn. Srinivas Gumidelli immediately agreed to donate some more benches to the school particularly for the primary section for which every body has applauded.
Local Media has covered the event.The Sarpanch, MPTC Members have lauded the service rendered by our Club. After taking snacks offered by the host, we have returned to Hyderabad with lot of happiness felt never before.
