Dear Members,

We have scheduled a joint meeting of few Rotary Clubs for a presentation by WWF India on

Climate Change & Carbon Footprint - Climate Change is a natural phenomenon being aggravated by the high emissions of Green House Gases in the atmosphere. This leads to an increase in average temperature of the Earth, increase in the intensity and occurrence of extreme weather events like cyclones, heavy rains and heat waves. It thus leads to inability of both flora and fauna to adapt thereby causing a threat to man and it's habitat.

Biodiversity Conservation - WWF-India works on the issues related to biodiversity conservation which comprise protection, preservation, and management of wildlife and natural resources such as forests, grasslands, and wetlands which are threatened due to human activities.
