RCSS Rotolympics - Cricket Preliminaries on 25th Dec, 2011.

Dear Members,

We have received entries for 06 Cricket Teams from our District 3150. We have taken out the draws for the matches and they are as under 06 Teams have registered to play the Cricket Tournament of Rotolympics

Team 1 - Rotary Club of Bhagyanagar
Team 2 - Rotary United (Combined Team of RC Hyd North + RC Gachibowli)
Team 3 - Rotary Club of Ameerpet
Team 4 - Rotary Club of Hyderabad East (RCHE Cricket Team)
Team 5 - Team Sunrise (RC Secunderabad Sunrise)
Team 6 - Rotary XI (Combined Team of RC Sec West + Other Rotary Clubs)

Keeping the above scenario in mind 02 Teams out of the above have been given a bye to the Semi-Finals to be Held on 01 January, 2012 at the Secunderabad Club Rotary United (Combined Team of RC Hyd North + RC Gachibowli)

The 3rd & 4th team that would enter the semifinal and meet them would be decided after the winner of match betwee Match 1 (Starts 0900 hrs)

Team Sunrise

The above match would be played on the 25th December, 2011 at the RRC Sports Complex. The first match would start at 0900 hrs and the second from 1300 hrs. All matches would be in T20 format with 12 members playing (XI Bat / XI Field). Request participants to wear proper cricketing attire. Basic cricketing equipment would be provided by the Organizers but it would be better if personal kits are carried too. Once the 04 Teams of Semi-Finals are decided, the draws for Semi-Finalists would be taken out and both matches would be played on 01 January, 2012 at the Secunderabad Club. The winners of the Semi-Finals would meet at RRC Grounds on 08 January, 2011 and play the final.We request the teams for the matches to be present 30 mins before the match time. Teams not present would have to withdraw and a bye to the next round would be given to the team present.I request our Club Members to please be present for the event and dedicate your time. Rotarians / Anns interested in doing commentary etc for tomrw are also welcomed. Its not time to deliver a super event. Let the fellowship and sportsman spirit start with the kick off of the Rotolympics.
